With nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare, Sophia Cording is a compassionate and highly skilled
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) committed to providing holistic, client-centered care.
As the founder of Gather Wisdom, a private practice focused on empowering individuals to take charge
of their mental health, Sophia blends evidence-based treatments with a truly caring, collaborative approach to support her clients in their journey toward
well-being.
Sophia holds a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Washington State University and brings over 15
years of experience as a registered nurse, with nearly two decades of combined healthcare expertise. She specializes in working with adults aged 18 to 65, offering compassionate care for those dealing with
anxiety, depression, focus and attention concerns, or mood dysregulation concerns.
Sophia believes in meeting each client where they are, offering a range of treatment options and ideas that are tailored to their unique needs. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, combined with a deep understanding of the individual and their unique experiences. At Gather Wisdom, Sophia fosters a nurturing and collaborative environment, where clients feel empowered to engage in their healing process and find the path that works best for them.
